Russia’s Rosneft signs supply deals with Ghana, Mongolia

Роснефть03ST. PETERSBURG, May 25 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft has signed supply agreements with Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and 12 Mongolian importers during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The total value of contracts with Mongolia amount to U.S. $2.1 billion. Rosneft will ship gasoline and diesel fuel.

Rosneft will ship 1.7 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually to Ghana over 12 years.

Rosneft and GNPC also signed a framework agreement on cooperation to study the priority areas in oil and gas deposits development, and oil and oil product supplies.

Rosneft signed a cooperation agreement on construction of a gas pipeline in Iraqi Kurdistan.

The company also signed a memorandum of understanding with Nigeria’s Oranto Petroleum to study possible cooperation in implementation of oil and gas projects in Africa on the basis of existing or newly acquired assets of Oranto Petroleum, as well as in refining, commerce, logistics and sales.

Rosneft signed a framework agreement on cooperation with Fleet Energy and Fleetliner Energy S.A. to study opportunities to establish a joint venture for gas supplies to Egypt.
